**Please put Confirmation Info Breakfast on your calendars! Parents and students – from 9-10 AM on February 2, come to EPIC for a light breakfast while we share more about expectations and details for Confirmation classes, and have a time to answer any questions you might have. (Students – feel free to grab breakfast too and hang out in the Game Room while your parents are meeting! We’ll have our first CONFIRMATION class at 10:15 AM following the breakfast.

Confirmation is a journey for all Students (7th-12th Grade) that want to take an 8 week Journey learning the foundations of what makes us followers of Jesus. We will focus on reading scripture, praying, asking questions, laughing, and making great memories as we unpack what it means to be a Christian in today’s world. The cost is $60 (includes retreat). If cost becomes an obstacle for your student’s participation, please let us know and we will adjust accordingly.

As far as expectations and responsibilities go, each student will be expected to read through their Confirmation Journal throughout the week and then participate in the group discussions that will take place during their gathering. Journals will be available at our first meetings. Attendance at weekend meetings is mandatory.

We will be meeting the following weekends
February 2, 9, 16, 23
March 8, 22, 29
April 5
Confirmation Sunday is April 19 (students will be confirmed during church service)

All Confirmation Students are required to attend the retreat as well. This retreat is open to all MS students, but is specifically part of the Confirmation process for students participating in Confirmation. The cost for the retreat is factored into the cost for Confirmation.

This is a huge step in the life of your student. Your students will grow in their knowledge of God, their understanding of Christ’s atoning work, and the power of the Holy Spirit alive and at work in and through them. In a world where faithfulness to God is growing increasingly rare, Confirmation is a powerful tool for reversing that in the lives of our young people.

All registration forms should be submitted via EPIC’s website by Jan 19. Please fill out the Medical Release form for 2020 and have it notarized for the overnight retreat.
Please email Phil at if you have any questions.
