JOIN US – to find out how you can join us in supporting vulnerable children and the families caring for them. Volunteers can choose from a few different roles and usually serve about 1x month. The online orientation is a little over an hour long and will equip you to serve a family that lives near you! Please RSVP above.

Contact Becky Morris at (407) 592-1507 or becky.l.morris@me.com if you have further questions.

Commission 127 was founded on principles we find in scripture.
• The Purpose—To obey the mandate of James 1:27 in the Bible. Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress.
• The Mission—To equip the body of Christ to love & support foster & adoptive families within local churches and surrounding neighborhoods.
• The Vision—Every child in foster care would experience the love of Jesus Christ through a well-supported family.

All children belong in families, but foster families often lack the necessary support. C127 trains churches to tangibly support families so families will foster longer and stronger.

Not all can foster, but all can care, so University Carillon has partnered with C127 and we have developed a ministry to live out the mission given in James 1:27.

Celebrate Christmas under the lights!

Join us for an outdoor, upbeat, fireside Christmas Eve celebration! We’ll be outside on University Carillon’s field by the pond singing Christmas carols, hearing the story of Christmas and cracking glowsticks for our “candlelight” celebration.

All you have to do is bring some friends and family, and either lawn chairs or picnic blankets … and we’ll take care of the rest!

We ask that all guests wear masks and practice social distancing: hand-sanitizing stations are available in all meeting spaces. Please honor these as a way of practically loving our community.

Wish Ms. Janet a fond farewell … drive by style! Janet will be in the breezeway between the Multipurpose Building and the Education Building at University Carillon Church while you drive by and wish her farewell and share a moment together. We encourage you to decorate your car or create a fun poster to hold out the window of your car as you drive by! There will be a place for you to drop off a card or letter if you have one for her.

In September, Janet shared with University Carillon leadership and her staff, “It is with mixed emotions that I announce that at the end of December my journey as Director of UCELC will come to an end. My husband and I are moving to North Carolina to be near grandbabies and family. Although I am going to a place I love, I am also leaving a place I have loved for the past 13 years. The families, children, and staff at UCELC have been my life and I have loved every minute”

We are so thankful for the 13 years that Janet has served as Director of University Carillon Early Learning Center and everything she has done to further the success of our preschool program. Through her gifts and dedicated heart, Janet has instilled the love of Christ and a hunger for learning in the countless children that have come through our center.

The FIVE is having an EPIC Christmas takeover! We’ll have some special Christmas singalongs for the kids, and a few EPIC students will share devotional reflections on the Christmas story, and the truth of Immanuel—God With Us.

EPIC students—plan to join us (in person or online) and head to the basketball court after service for pizza and a Christmas hangout! More details to come.
